Notre Dame Fighting Irish x The Grinch Christmas Advent Calendar – From “Go Irish” to Holiday Mischief
Crimson may belong to Christmas, but this calendar goes all in on Notre Dame blue, gold, and green. Its crossover concept transforms familiar holiday imagery into a playful Fighting Irish collection, pairing Grinch-inspired characters with football gear, shamrocks, team colors, and campus-themed details.
The displayed designs move far beyond one repeated character. There are football-uniform looks, Santa hats, a “Go Irish” sign, foam finger, marching-band styling, a gold-filled pot, wrapped present, sleigh, snowman, gingerbread-inspired character, decorated Christmas tree, reindeer details, and a miniature campus-building scene. Even the holiday props carry Notre Dame-inspired accents, making the collection feel connected from one surprise to the next.
The box artwork extends the idea into a snowy campus Christmas scene, complete with the recognizable golden-domed building, decorated trees, presents, football imagery, and the playful green holiday character at the center. The result feels like Fighting Irish fandom meeting Christmas mischief rather than a conventional sports-only countdown.
With 24 holiday surprises, each December opening reveals another variation on that crossover theme. It is especially suited to fans who enjoy football collectibles but want their seasonal display to have more humor, character, and Christmas personality.
