New Orleans Saints 59Th Anniversary Advent Calendar 2026 – This One Feels Like Someone Decorated New Orleans for Christmas in Black and Gold
There are Advent calendars where I immediately start looking for my favorite piece.
With this one, I started looking for the most New Orleans piece instead.
The Superdome?
The skyline?
The black-and-gold wreath?
Or that final “24 Days ’Til Christmas and Always Who Dat” design?
The New Orleans Saints 59Th Anniversary Advent Calendar 2026 has enough variety that the football theme never has to carry the entire collection by itself. It starts on the field, moves through Saints symbols and New Orleans landmarks, then finishes with Christmas.

The First 12 Days Belong to Football
Half of the pictured collection is devoted to player-inspired designs.
There are 12 different football figures, shown throwing, carrying the ball, running and celebrating in black, gold and white uniform combinations.
Rather than treating them as 12 copies of one basic figure, the different poses and jersey numbers create the impression of a miniature game-day lineup.
I wouldn’t identify them as specific real players based only on the artwork or numbers. As a collection, though, they clearly establish the football side of the countdown before the second half starts introducing a very different mix of designs.
Day 13 Is Where the Collection Changes
This is probably the transition I’d look forward to most.
After 12 player-inspired pieces, Day 13 introduces the large 59th Anniversary 1967–2026 motif.
Then comes a Caesars Superdome-inspired design, gold football helmet, commemorative football, Saints pennant and another black-and-gold team emblem.
Suddenly it feels less like a lineup of players and more like a little shelf of Saints memorabilia.
That change keeps the 24-day countdown from becoming predictable.
Then New Orleans Takes Over
Days 19 through 24 are where the personality really comes out.
The pictured collection includes a New Orleans skyline, black-and-gold Christmas ornament, festive Who Dat wreath, wrapped present, Superdome-style snow globe and the final Christmas countdown design.
My favorite detail might actually be the snow globe.
Football stadium imagery inside a snowy Christmas scene shouldn’t necessarily feel like New Orleans—and yet surrounded by all the black, gold and city references, it fits right in.
The box artwork follows the same idea, combining the New Orleans skyline, Superdome, Saints-inspired helmet, Christmas trees, lights and presents into one elaborate holiday scene.
Black and Gold Works Surprisingly Well for Christmas
Most Christmas collections lean heavily on red and green.
This one doesn’t need to.
Black, metallic-looking gold, white and warm holiday lights give the entire set a different visual identity. The wreaths, ornaments and presents still communicate Christmas immediately, while the color palette keeps everything tied to the Saints theme.
I’d mix these pieces among regular gold Christmas ornaments rather than keeping them all in one area of the tree.
From across the room, they’d blend into the holiday décor.
Up close, that’s when all the football details start appearing.

24 Days, but Not 24 Versions of the Same Idea
The pictured collection gives the countdown a clear progression:
12 player-inspired designs → 6 Saints football and anniversary pieces → 6 New Orleans and Christmas designs.
That structure is one of the strongest things about it.
By Day 24, you’ve gone from football action to team imagery, city identity and finally Christmas—while the black-and-gold palette keeps the entire collection visually connected.

FAQ
How many designs are included?
The product image presents a 24-day collection with 24 different pictured designs.
Are all the pieces football players?
No. The first 12 are player-inspired figures, while the remaining designs include anniversary artwork, a helmet, football, stadium imagery, Saints-inspired symbols, New Orleans motifs and Christmas pieces.
What makes this an anniversary edition?
The supplied artwork prominently features “59th Anniversary 1967–2026” on the calendar packaging and an individual anniversary piece.
Can the pieces be used as Christmas decorations?
The pictured pieces feature hanging loops and several are specifically designed around Christmas imagery such as an ornament, wreath, present and snow globe.

For this one, I’d make a lifestyle image where some pieces are already hanging on a black-and-gold Christmas tree while the remaining pieces sit beside the calendar. The “Who Dat” wreath, Superdome snow globe and anniversary piece would be especially good to feature because they show customers that this isn’t simply a set of 24 player figures.
