The Wizard of Oz Emerald City 87th Anniversary Ball Christmas Ornament

Follow the Yellow Brick Road to Christmas

A rainbow arches across the background while the Emerald City rises in brilliant green at the end of the yellow brick road. Instead of treating the anniversary as a simple date graphic, the ornament builds an entire miniature fantasy landscape around the milestone.

At the center, four familiar traveling companions and a small dog stand together along the road. Fields of vivid red flowers, sculpted trees and evergreen details surround them, giving the scene the layered appearance of a tiny world enclosed within the clear round ornament.

The palette is especially distinctive: emerald green architecture, ruby-red flowers, a multicolored rainbow and the golden road create an instantly recognizable visual combination. Warm points of light around the interior edge add a subtle Christmas glow without overpowering the central artwork.

Along the base, an ornate vintage-style banner reads “The Wizard of Oz – 87th Anniversary – 1939–2026.” Decorative metallic scrollwork continues around the lower edge, while the patterned cap and deep red hanging ribbon give the piece a more traditional holiday finish.

For fans who associate the story with childhood memories, movie nights and timeless fantasy, this Wizard of Oz 87th Anniversary ornament works as both a Christmas decoration and a small commemorative piece marking the 2026 milestone.
