New England Patriots The Grinch Christmas Advent Calendar

The Grinch Has Taken Over Game Day

Imagine Christmas arriving on football Sunday—and somehow the Grinch has managed to take every job in the stadium.

That is the playful idea running through the New England Patriots The Grinch Christmas Advent Calendar. Across 24 collectible designs, the character moves beyond a single football pose and becomes an entire miniature game-day cast.

There is the player carrying a football. The helmeted competitor ready for action. The sideline supporter with a megaphone. The enthusiastic cheer pose waving pom-poms. Another Grinch proudly holds up a “PATRIOTS” sign, while one raises a trophy-inspired piece overhead.

Then there is the guitar player in a cowboy-style hat, because apparently even the halftime entertainment has been taken over.

From Kickoff to Christmas Morning

Football creates the setting, but Christmas keeps interrupting the game.

One Grinch becomes tangled in colorful lights. Another disappears behind a tower of wrapped presents. A decorated wreath, Christmas tree, oversized gift sack and Santa-style hats spread holiday details throughout the collection.

A small dog joins one scene, giving the lineup a quieter character moment between the more energetic football poses.

The jersey-style designs also change throughout the set, with visible numbers including 4, 1, 88, 21, 11 and 12. Combined with helmets, footballs and fan accessories, those variations help the collection feel more like a complete Patriots-inspired Christmas game-day scene than a row of identical characters.

A Tiny Fan Section for December

Some of the most entertaining pieces are the ones that are not trying to look like players at all.

The megaphone, pom-poms and fan sign bring the stands and sidelines into the collection. The decorated tree and wreath turn football imagery into Christmas decorations, while the gift sack and wrapped boxes move the story toward Christmas morning.

Even the familiar navy, red and white details travel between the football and holiday elements, helping the separate scenes feel connected when all 24 are displayed together.

That makes the countdown work in two ways: each day reveals another small character or scene, while the completed New England Patriots Christmas Advent Calendar gradually becomes its own miniature holiday crowd.

It is football fandom with the seriousness removed—and the Grinch placed in charge of just about everything.
