New York Yankees Christmas Advent Calendar 2026

Last Christmas, I Made One Rule: One Yankees Piece a Day

It lasted four days.

That was the problem with having a Yankees-themed countdown sitting next to the Christmas tree. I’d open one, hang it up, walk away…and somehow find myself back in front of the calendar wondering what was behind tomorrow’s door.

So when I saw the New York Yankees Christmas Advent Calendar 2026, I immediately knew how this would go.

December 1: I’ll be patient this year.

December 5: Maybe opening just one extra doesn’t count.

December 10: Christmas tree already starting to look like it belongs somewhere in the Bronx.

And that’s exactly the kind of Advent calendar I like—the countdown actually changes the room as Christmas gets closer.

My Tree Didn’t Start as a Yankees Tree

That’s probably what I enjoyed most about the experience.

At the beginning of December, it was just our regular Christmas tree.

Then came the first Yankees piece.

A few days later, another.

By the middle of the month, navy and white had quietly started appearing between the lights and ordinary Christmas ornaments. Eventually, there was no pretending anymore.

It had become a Yankees Christmas tree.

The 2026 collection pictured here follows that same idea with a mix of baseball, New York and holiday imagery rather than repeating the same logo 24 times.

There’s the classic NY-style emblem, Yankees script, a New York skyline design and a snowy stadium-inspired piece.

Then Christmas starts sneaking in.

A Yankees snowman.

A wreath wrapped around the NY emblem.

A navy gift box with a silver bow.

Even the stadium artwork gets the full holiday treatment with greenery, lights and snow.

The Stadium Piece Would Be the One I’d Save for the Front

Every Advent calendar eventually gives me one piece that I don’t want disappearing around the side of the tree.

For this one, it’s the snowy Yankee Stadium-inspired ornament shown being held in the product image.

It brings several parts of the collection together at once: baseball, New York, the holidays and that unmistakable Yankees identity.

I’d hang that one somewhere near the front.

The skyline would probably go beside it, with the large NY emblem a little higher up.

The snowman?

That one gets its own branch.

No debate.

The Best Part Happens Around the Middle of December

Day 1 is fun because everything is new.

Christmas Eve is obviously the big finish.

But somewhere around Day 12 or 13 is when I think an Advent calendar like this becomes most satisfying.

You look at the tree and realize you’ve already built half a collection without really noticing it.

That’s also why I prefer the variety shown here.

Some pieces lean heavily into Yankees baseball. Others feel more like New York keepsakes. And several are unmistakably Christmas decorations.

Together, they create a display that feels collected over time instead of looking like someone hung the same team logo everywhere.

I Wouldn’t Pack These Away With the Calendar Box

Once Day 24 arrives, the countdown has done its job.

The pieces haven’t.

The pictured designs have hanging loops, so I’d keep them on the Christmas tree through the rest of the holiday season. After that, I’d store them with the Christmas decorations rather than treating them like disposable Advent surprises.

Next December, they’d come back out.

And that’s where this type of product becomes more interesting to me.

The first year is about opening the calendar.

The years after that are about recognizing the pieces.

“Oh, that’s the stadium one.”

“That’s the snowman.”

“That’s the one we opened right before Christmas.”

Little things like that are how ordinary decorations eventually become part of a family’s Christmas routine.

Baseball Season Ends. Being a Yankees Fan Doesn’t.

That’s probably the simplest way I’d describe the New York Yankees Christmas Advent Calendar 2026.

December may be far removed from summer nights at the ballpark, but fandom doesn’t really follow the schedule.

This calendar takes that baseball connection and gives it somewhere to live during Christmas—on the tree, among the lights, one new piece at a time.

And if you’re anything like me, the hardest part won’t be deciding where to hang them.

It’ll be leaving tomorrow’s door closed.
