Kansas City Chiefs The Grinch Christmas Advent Calendar

Is He Stealing Christmas—or Delivering It to Game Day?

With the Grinch, a giant sack of presents could mean almost anything.

That little bit of uncertainty gives the Kansas City Chiefs The Grinch Christmas Advent Calendar its personality. Throughout the 24-day collection, the familiar green troublemaker seems to bounce between two completely different December missions: preparing for football and getting Christmas ready.

One design puts a football directly in his hand. Another adds a helmet for a more game-ready appearance. Then suddenly he is wrapped from head to toe in colorful Christmas lights.

A few surprises later, there are presents everywhere.

He carries stacked gift boxes, stands beside a decorated wreath and appears with a huge red sack marked with football-inspired imagery. A small dog even joins him for one of the quieter holiday moments.

Whether he is helping with Christmas or causing the chaos is left to the imagination.

The Football Gear Keeps Finding Its Way Into Christmas

Even when the scenes become festive, the game-day theme never disappears for long.

Jersey-style outfits show visible numbers including 15, 87, 10, 11, 21, 88 and 12, while footballs, a helmet and fan accessories appear throughout the lineup. One character waves a foam finger, another carries a megaphone and another proudly raises a “CHIEFS” sign.

There is even a trophy-inspired piece held overhead as if somebody has already decided how this holiday game should end.

But perhaps the most playful designs are the ones that ignore football conventions altogether. A Grinch with pom-poms becomes part of the cheer crew, while another appears in a cowboy-style hat with a guitar.

The collection never stays in one role for very long.

By Day 24, Game Day Has Become Christmas

As more pieces join the display, the boundary between the two themes starts disappearing.

The Christmas tree carries football-inspired decorations. Presents adopt the same red-and-gold visual language. Santa-style hats appear alongside jerseys. Even the oversized gift sack feels like something brought directly from a holiday tailgate.

That crossover is what gives this Chiefs Grinch Advent Calendar its character. Rather than separating the sports pieces from the Christmas pieces, the artwork keeps mixing the two until they belong in the same little world.

Behind the mischievous expressions and football poses is a 24-day countdown built around one simple question:

Will the Grinch steal Christmas this time—or just bring all the presents to game day?
