Knights Of Columbus Playing Card Box Set

This Deck Looks Like It Belongs in an Old Wood-Paneled Study

Put these cards on an ordinary kitchen table and they’ll probably still look good.

But the first setting I picture is different: a dark wooden table, a quiet evening, a few friends sitting down for cards, and this navy-and-gold box waiting in the middle.

The Knights Of Columbus Playing Card Box Set has that kind of visual personality.

It doesn’t rely on a single logo stamped onto otherwise ordinary cards. The pictured design carries the theme through the box, card backs, Joker, Ace and court cards, using deep navy, burgundy and gold detailing to make the collection feel intentionally coordinated.

Even the Card Back Deserves to Stay Face Up

Normally, the back of a playing card is the part I pay the least attention to.

Not here.

The pictured card back uses a centered K of C-inspired emblem surrounded by gold flourishes, laurel-style detailing and a decorative border. The dark navy background gives all of that gold linework room to stand out without becoming overly busy.

The box follows essentially the same visual language.

“KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS” appears prominently across the front, with the central emblem framed by ornamental details and a burgundy title panel. Near the bottom, the artwork reads “Collector’s Playing Cards.”

Placed together, the deck and box look like they were designed as one display rather than packaging being an afterthought.

The Face Cards Are Where the Artwork Gets Interesting

The pictured cards move away from generic modern graphics and lean into traditional illustrated playing-card styling.

A Joker appears in a richly decorated red, navy and gold costume. The Ace of Hearts centers its suit inside an elaborate heart-shaped composition with a K of C motif.

Then there are the court cards.

The pictured King of Spades carries a sword and shield, while the Queen of Spades is presented in similarly ornate royal attire. Both continue the same navy, burgundy, ivory and antique-gold palette seen throughout the box.

It gives the deck a slightly ceremonial, old-world character without losing the familiar visual language of standard playing cards.

More Than Something I’d Hide in a Drawer

A normal deck gets shuffled, played and returned to a drawer.

This one feels more like something I’d leave on the shelf between games.

The combination of heraldic-style artwork, decorative borders and Knights of Columbus-inspired imagery makes it easy to imagine as a gift for someone who enjoys card games but also appreciates meaningful display pieces.

The image also incorporates the words “Charity, Unity, Fraternity, Patriotism” into the surrounding presentation, reinforcing the overall Knights of Columbus theme.

A Deck You Might Spend a Minute Looking At Before Shuffling

That’s probably what separates this design from an everyday pack of cards.

You can still picture it coming out for a game, but there’s enough artwork here that the first few minutes might be spent passing around the King, Queen, Joker and Ace instead.

And when the game is over, that navy-and-gold box is attractive enough that I wouldn’t be in much of a hurry to put it away.
